Production and Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machines during daily operations.
• To ensure production floor aligns with 5S policy in terms of health and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and fix minor machine faults to minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment setup, adjustments and cleaning.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Report major breakdowns or technical issues to the supervisor.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work done.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.

Job Requirements

• Completed at least Secondary Education or equivalent technical certificate (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering Trade/NTC, TVET) is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of machinery and mechanical / electrical / industrial maintenance principles.
• Able to follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.
• Good troubleshooting skills for minor machine faults.
• Physically fit able to do standing, lifting, bending, and moving equipment safely.
• Responsible, reliable and safety-conscious mindset.
• Working hours in shifts are required.
