Job Summary

You will provide friendly, professional customer service while accurately processing remittance transactions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to support smooth branch operations.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Frontline Operations

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner to create a positive first impression
• Provide accurate information on remittance services, exchange rates, and transaction procedures to support informed customer decisions
• Resolve customer enquiries efficiently to deliver a positive customer experience
• Act as a customer experience ambassador to maintain high satisfaction levels

Remittance & Transaction Processing

• Process remittance transactions accurately and efficiently to ensure timely service delivery
• Verify and complete transaction documentation according to company procedures to maintain transaction integrity
• Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory and operational requirements to uphold company standards

Compliance & Documentation

• Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) checks and maintain proper documentation to support compliance efforts
• Ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) policies and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes to facilitate regulatory reviews

Cash Handling & Branch Operations

• Manage cash transactions, reconciliation, and balancing in accordance with company policies to ensure financial accuracy
• Control cash and securely handle financial instruments to prevent loss or fraud
• Support daily branch operations and reporting to maintain operational efficiency

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the Branch Manager and team members to ensure smooth branch operations
• Follow operational guidelines and contribute to continuous improvements in branch processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Qualification in Finance, Business, or related field
• Relevant customer service or cashiering experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in remittance services, banking or financial services, retail cashiering, or customer service environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel)
• Strong time management and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced customer environment
