We are looking for Medical Laboratory Technologist to carry out diagnostic genetic tests as well as routine duties to ensure smooth functioning of the laboratory.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Perform all genetic tests in accordance with laboratory protocols
- Receive and register lab specimens
- Receive and answer queries from customers
- Comply with good laboratory practice and lab safety requirements
- Assist with quality assurance programs, equipment maintenance, and general administration
Requirements:
- Degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Relevant experience in diagnostic molecular biology will be an advantage
- Able to work independently, as well as a team
- Good communication skills (written & oral)
- Basic computer literacy
