Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Commercial Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth and market development across Singapore and Malaysia.
Key responsibilities include:- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within medical device, life sciences and healthcare-related industries
- Build and maintain relationships with engineering, procurement, operations and leadership stakeholders within OEM customers
- Manage complex consultative sales cycles from initial engagement through quotation, validation and commercial launch
- Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality and project teams to develop tailored customer solutions
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies to expand market presence and revenue generation
- Monitor industry developments, competitor activity and market trends to identify emerging opportunities
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting and business planning updates
The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of experience in technical B2B sales, business development, engineering sales, or related commercial roles
- Demonstrated success in developing new business opportunities and managing consultative sales processes
- Exposure to healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, engineered components, or related sectors
- Ability to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders across customer organizations
- Strong commercial acumen with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach to business development
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineering specifications, drawings, or manufacturing processes
- Experience within polymers, elastomers, silicone products, plastics, injection molding, cleanroom manufacturing, or regulated environments will be advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred
