Solar Sales Executive / Business Development Executive

## Job Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven *Solar Sales Executive / Business Development Executive* to grow our solar PV business in Singapore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, managing sales opportunities and closing residential and commercial solar projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Generate new sales leads for solar PV projects through cold calling, referrals, networking, online enquiries and other business development activities.
* Develop and maintain relationships with residential, commercial and industrial customers.
* Meet prospective customers and understand their electricity consumption, site requirements and investment objectives.
* Conduct basic site assessments and collect relevant information such as electricity bills, roof information and customer requirements.
* Prepare and present solar proposals, quotations, system recommendations, estimated energy savings and return-on-investment calculations.
* Explain solar PV systems, electricity savings, warranties, project process and available solutions to customers.
* Follow up actively with potential customers and convert leads into signed projects.
* Negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
* Coordinate with the engineering and project teams after contract award to ensure smooth project handover.
* Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, follow-ups and sales pipeline.
* Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Identify new business opportunities in the residential, commercial and industrial solar markets.
## Requirements
* *Polytechnic Diploma or above*.
* *Minimum 3 years of sales / business development experience.*
* Experience in *solar PV, renewable energy, electrical, construction, engineering or related industries* will be an advantage.
* Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills.
* Comfortable with cold calling, customer meetings and developing new business.
* Able to communicate confidently with homeowners, business owners, contractors and corporate customers.
* Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently.
* Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Basic understanding of solar PV systems and electricity bills will be an advantage.
* Candidates with an existing customer network in the construction, industrial, landed residential or commercial sectors will have an advantage.
* Possession of a valid Singapore driving licence will be an advantage.
## Salary & Commission
* *Basic Salary: S$3,000/month*
* *Attractive Sales Commission*
* High performers may earn approximately *S$5,000–S$7,000+ per month in commission*, on top of basic salary.
* Income is directly linked to sales performance — strong performers will be rewarded accordingly.
