Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a full time Print Operations Technician to support the organisation’s printing, delivery, inventory, facilities maintenance and operational requirements.
The role is based at the company’s printing facility and also provides support across its company locations islandwide.
Key Responsibilities
Printing, Delivery & Inventory
Operate the printing machinery at the company’s printing facility.
Print, collate, pack and prepare worksheets and other materials for delivery.
Drive the company’s van (Auto) to deliver materials and equipment to company locations islandwide.
Diagnose and resolve basic issues involving photocopiers and printing machines.
Assist with preparing and issuing delivery orders and invoices where required.
Maintain inventory control through the warehouse system.
Carry out regular stocktaking and maintain proper inventory records.
Facilities & Site Support
Maintain and repair office equipment and premises at the head office and company locations.
Coordinate with building management and landlords on safety and building compliance matters and required maintenance works.
Liaise with contractors regarding air conditioning systems, lighting, CCTV systems and fire extinguishers.
Provide technical support for interactive whiteboards, visualisers, projectors and laptops.
Coordinate the delivery of furniture and equipment for new company locations.
Coordinate the installation of internet services, telephone lines and payment systems for new company locations.
Assist with applications for payment, telecommunications and utility services.
Follow up with contractors and interior designers on renovation progress and completion.
Assist with purchasing office equipment, computers and laptops, including sourcing suitable pricing and maintenance programmes.
Provide feedback on the quality of work delivered by vendors and suppliers.
Relocations & Events
Pack, move and arrange tables, chairs, furniture and equipment during relocations involving company locations, the office or warehouse.
Support the movement of furniture, equipment and other items for company events, seminars and workshops.
Undertake other ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
Requirements
Valid Class 3 driving licence.
At least 2 years of working experience.
Prior related working experience will be an advantage.
Hands-on experience operating commercial photocopiers or printing machinery will be an advantage.
Able to diagnose and resolve basic photocopier or printing machine faults.
Experience with facilities maintenance or office equipment repairs will be an advantage.
Comfortable driving the company’s van (Auto) for islandwide deliveries.
Comfortable undertaking physical work, including packing, carrying and moving furniture and equipment.
Working Days & Hours
Monday to Friday.
8:30am to 5:30pm.
Occasional overtime and event support may be required.
Job Location
Marymount
Travel to company locations islandwide will be required for deliveries and operational support.
Important Notes
This is a full time onsite position.
A company van with automatic transmission will be provided for deliveries.
Training on the printing machinery and basic troubleshooting will be provided.
The role involves regular physical and manual work.
