Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced VP, Sales to lead OpenMax’s global sales organization and drive sustainable revenue growth. The role will own global sales strategy and execution, accelerate enterprise customer acquisition, expand into key international markets, and build and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve the company’s growth objectives.
Core Responsibilities
1. Global Sales Leadership: Lead the global sales function by driving revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales pipeline, and delivering against revenue targets.
2. Sales Operations & Performance: Oversee CRM management, sales analytics, forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance reporting to improve sales effectiveness and operational excellence.
3. Sales Management & Team Development: Establish and continuously enhance sales management frameworks, policies, processes, and incentive mechanisms. Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development and Sales teams to build a high-performing organization.
4. Go-to-Market & Market Expansion: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to identify new business opportunities, accelerate customer acquisition, expand into key markets, and strengthen OpenMax’s market presence.
Requirements
1. 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or commercial roles, including at least 3 years in a sales leadership position with responsibility for revenue targets and team management.
2. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets, preferably within B2B SaaS, technology, AI, or related industries.
3. Strong experience in building and managing sales organizations, including sales processes, pipeline management, performance frameworks, incentive structures, and team development.
4. Hands-on experience with CRM, sales forecasting, pipeline analytics, and performance reporting, with the ability to use data to improve sales productivity and conversion.
5. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, including new market entry, enterprise customer acquisition, and international business expansion.
6. Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with experience hiring, coaching, developing, and managing high-performing Sales and Business Development teams.
7. Excellent commercial judgment, negotiation, and enterprise relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and key decision-makers.
8. Strong understanding of international and cross-cultural business environments, with experience managing sales across multiple markets or regions highly preferred.
9. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English; proficiency in Chinese is highly preferred for working with internal teams and Chinese-speaking clients and partners.
