Safety Coordinator

Job Title: Safety Coordinator (ID1783)
Location: Pioneer Kian Teck
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm
Salary: up to $3700
Allowance: $150 + daily transport claim

Job Responsibilities:
Key Tasks
1. Inspections & Monitoring:
. Conduct daily site inspections, observe work practices, and check compliance with safety rules (PPE, procedures)

2. Risk Management:
. Perform risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement corrective/preventive actions.

3. Training & Awareness:
. Organize and deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and promote safety programs.

4. Incident Response:
. Investigate accidents, near misses, and non-compliance report findings and recommend improvements.
. Liased with Government Safety Authority on safety related issues and factory safety renewals.

5. Documentation & Reporting:
. Maintain safety records, prepare reports, and keep up-to-date with WSH regulations.

6. Equipment Management:
. Inspect and manage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

7. Liaison:
. Act as a link between workers, supervisors, and management on safety matters.
Other Tasks
. Be a member of factory meeting.
. Be a member of ISO 14000 and its annual audit.
