Marketing Executive (HAIR INDUSTRY/CITY HALL)

Johwa Hair & Living is looking for a creative, proactive and hands-on Full-Time Marketing Strategist to help strengthen our brand presence, grow our online community and attract new customers through engaging content and meaningful marketing initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just wait for instructions, but is proactive in identifying opportunities, coming up with new ideas and taking ownership of projects from planning to execution .
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute monthly content strategies across Johwa’s social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
Proactively identify content opportunities and take the lead in planning, creating, editing and publishing engaging photo and video content that reflects Johwa’s brand
Source, approach and coordinate influencer and content creator collaborations
Proactively source and coordinate hair model sessions to support content creation and marketing initiatives
Work closely with the Marketing Lead/Overall Strategist to plan and execute marketing campaigns that support Johwa’s business goals
Monitor social media performance and provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement, reach and overall content performance
Keep up with the latest social media trends, beauty and wellness content, and competitor activity, and proactively suggest fresh ideas that are relevant to Johwa
Assist in planning and executing seasonal campaigns, promotions and brand collaborations
Coordinate with salon staff and stylists to organise content shoots and ensure smooth execution
Build and maintain relationships with micro-influencers, content creators and local communities to identify new marketing opportunities
Ensure a consistent brand voice, tone and visual identity across all marketing channels
Support the creation of marketing materials such as posters, promotional graphics and email campaigns when required
Manage and update the Johwa website, including creating and editing content such as banners and promotional materials when necessary
Take initiative to explore new marketing channels, partnerships and opportunities that can help increase brand awareness and customer acquisition
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Has experience in social media marketing, digital marketing or a similar role
Is highly proactive, self-motivated and takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
Is creative, with strong content planning, storytelling and communication skills
Has a good understanding of Instagram, TikTok and current social media trends
Has basic photography, videography and content editing skills; experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express or similar tools is a bonus
Is organised, resourceful and able to manage multiple projects independently
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and coordinating with different team members
Has a strong eye for detail and understands the importance of maintaining a consistent brand image
Is passionate about beauty, hair, lifestyle and social media, and enjoys staying ahead of trends
