Job Summary
You will prepare and manage comprehensive accounting and tax deliverables, ensuring compliance with local regulations and supporting client audits. This role requires analytical problem-solving to drive accurate financial reporting and tax submissions, contributing to client satisfaction and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Prepare full sets of accounts by compiling and verifying accounting schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Develop and submit GST reports to IRAS, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines
- Compute local taxes and manage tax filing submissions to maintain regulatory compliance for clients
- Prepare payroll and related statutory forms such as CPF and IR8A to support client payroll processing
- Assist in client yearly audits by providing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries
- Prepare unaudited financial statements that meet client and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with managers to execute additional duties and responsibilities that support client and firm objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA certification
- CA/CPA certification is advantageous but not mandatory
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting and tax experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through accurate financial and tax deliverables
- Experience as an auditor is welcomed and considered beneficial
