Mechanical Design Engineer

Summary

The incumbent is responsible for retrieve and review all customer specification documents, vendor quotes, drawings and diagrams for creating mechanical designs for customer.

Responsibilities

. Prepare and submit drawings for customer's review and approval.

. Amend drawing & revise the drawing as per command from production manager or relevant party to meet customer's requirements.

. Responsible for design control and drawing specification control, liaise with customer for engineering design with AutoCAD & SOLIDWORKS

. Prepare bills of quantities according to project requirement for production manager easy to refer.

. Prepare quotation to customer and follow up with customer to make sure we meet customer's requirements.

. Perform daily review and approval of products release (QA) to check the quality of products.

. Ensure all quality management system documentation are kept in order as per our ISO standards.

. Implement quality control programs as per our ISO standards.

. Mechanical Product includes, Skid platform, Form Hose Reel, Enclosure, Panel, Bicycle Rack, Battery Rack, Construction Structure and etc.
