Business Development Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:
o Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in the construction, WSH, bizSAFE, ISO consultancy, auditing and outsourcing sectors. Develop new markets, services and potential business areasto support company growth.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with main contractors, subcontractors, developers, consultants and corporate clients. Conduct regular client visits, understand their requirements and develop opportunities for repeat and long-term business.
o Develop business opportunities related to construction work and IT services. Understandproject requirements and provide suitable service proposals to clients.
o Identify and secure outsourcing and manpower opportunities within the construction and related industries. Understand client manpower requirements, coordinate with the operations team and ensure suitable personnel/services are proposed and deployed.
o Identify relevant tender opportunities, review client requirements and coordinate the preparation of quotations, tenders and business proposals. Ensure timely submission and conduct systematic follow-up to improve business conversion.
o Research market trends, upcoming construction projects and competitor activities toidentify potential growth areas. Propose new services, strategic partnerships and business initiatives to management for sustainable company development.
Requirements / Qualifications
o Minimum 2–5 years of relevantexperience in business development, sales, construction and outsourcing services.
o Experience in the constructionindustry will be an advantage.
o Strong communication,negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to develop and maintaingood relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and business partners.
o Able to work independently,identify new business opportunities and manage multiple projects or clients.
o Good sales, networking, tenderpreparation and quotation follow-up skills.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office(Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and comfortable with preparing reports andbusiness proposals.
o Self-motivated, responsible,target-oriented and willing to travel to client/project sites when required.
o Able to work effectively withmanagement, operations, consultants and external stakeholders. Weekly 5.5 days work.
