Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Monitor plant performance, water quality, chemical dosing, and operating parameters.
- Lead operators and technicians in routine plant inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot pumps, valves, piping, filters, treatment equipment, and instrumentation.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and contractor activities.
- Ensure all work complies with safety procedures, environmental requirements, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
- Maintain operating records, chemical inventory, maintenance reports, and plant documentation.
- Identify operational issues and recommend improvements to plant performance and reliability.
Job Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, utilities, or process plant operations.
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, piping, chemical dosing systems, and basic instrumentation.
- Experience with systems such as wastewater treatment, RO, UF, filtration, ion exchange, or EDI will be an advantage.
