About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Accounting Executive to support the day-to-day finance
operations of UNi-corp Singapore Pte Ltd and her group of companies. You will manage full-set accounts,
prepare monthly reports and work closely with our Finance Manager and colleagues in Singapore and
China.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full-set accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, accounting schedules and month-end closing entries.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and cash-flow reports.
- Prepare GST submissions and other statutory returns accurately and on time.
- Support the Finance Manager with report finalisation, audit schedules and year-end matters.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders when required.
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
- Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
What we are looking for
- Diploma or degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
- At least one year of relevant accounting experience; experience handling full-set accounts is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with accounting software is advantageous; system training will be provided.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is required for regular work-related communication with Mandarin-
- speaking management and colleagues in China.
- Careful, dependable and able to meet reporting deadlines.
- Positive team player who takes initiative and works well in a small team.
