Application Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Development & Solution Architecture

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of full-stack application solutions to meet complex business requirements.

• Architect robust, scalable, and enterprise-grade applications using modern frameworks such as React.js, Node.js, Java, and Python.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that demonstrate solution feasibility.

• Ensure seamless integration of applications with tools and platforms, enabling cohesive and efficient workflows.

2. Workflow & Process Automation

• Architect and implement workflow automation solutions to optimize complex business processes and enhance operational efficiency.

• Standardize and lead workflow orchestration strategies across domains like Digital Banking, CRM, Cards, Credit Origination, and Compliance.

• Design and implement automation frameworks leveraging tools like Tosca, Appium, Jenkins, and Jira, ensuring efficiency and scalability.

• Lead multi-country workflow automation rollouts, integrating automated solutions seamlessly across regions.

• Identify automation gaps, develop solutions, and continuously innovate to streamline processes while reducing manual effort.

3. AI/ML and GenAI App Solutions

• Design and implement Generative AI-powered solutions using tools such as Azure OpenAI, Microsoft AI Studio, and Microsoft Copilot Stack.

• Fine-tune and integrate large language models (LLMs) to meet client-specific needs, enhancing workflows and user productivity.

• Develop AI/ML applications to automate and optimize engineering, testing, and data provisioning processes.

• Deliver AI-driven Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) to showcase the transformative potential of Generative AI in real-world business scenarios.

4. Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor and upskill teams in workflow automation strategies, application development frameworks, and AI technologies.

• Collaborate with project management to design and implement enterprise-level architecture solutions that align with organizational goals.

• Drive the adoption of best practices, standards, and modern automation techniques across engineering teams.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

5. Innovation & Strategic Initiatives

• Spearhead digital transformation initiatives by developing solutions that integrate modern technologies like AI, ML, and automation frameworks.

• Innovate reusable workflows, frameworks, and components to accelerate development and automation across projects.

• Research emerging technologies and propose strategies for integrating AI, ML, and hyperscaler cloud platforms like Azure and AWS to meet business needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an Application Development Lead, Workflow & Process Automation Architect, or Solution Architect.

• Strong expertise in application development frameworks: React.js, Node.js, Java, and Python.

• Hands-on experience in architecting and implementing workflow and process automation solutions with tools like Tosca, Appium, Jenkins, and Jira.

• Expertise in AI/ML and GenAI solutions, with tools like Azure OpenAI, Microsoft AI Studio, and Copilot Stack.

• Experience with hyperscaler cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and associated AI tools.

• Ability to design PoCs/MVPs, develop strategies for workflow optimization, and deliver scalable solutions.

• Strong leadership skills, including mentoring, stakeholder management, and driving technology adoption.

• Experience with multi-region workflow automation deployments and enterprise-level integrations.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Professional certifications in AI/ML, cloud platforms, or workflow automation tools are a plus.
