Join a dynamic gymnastics business seeking a creative freelance video editor to elevate our social media presence. With over 600 weekly students, we are committed to showcasing the energy and excitement of gymnastics through engaging CapCut videos. The ideal candidate will transform our current content—primarily still images with music overlays—into interactive, fun, and visually compelling reels that resonate with our audience on Instagram and Facebook. This is a fully remote opportunity to make a significant impact on our brand's digital engagement. Deliverables
- Produce interactive CapCut videos tailored for Instagram and Facebook, highlighting gymnastics activities and student achievements
- Develop creative concepts and storyboards for short-form video content
- Edit and enhance raw footage, incorporating dynamic transitions, effects, and music to boost viewer engagement
- Collaborate with the team to align video content with brand messaging and campaign goals
- Optimize videos for social media platforms, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to platform specifications
- Deliver content on a consistent schedule to support ongoing social media campaigns
- Proven experience editing short-form videos for social media, preferably using CapCut or similar mobile editing tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative video editing skills and an understanding of social media trends
- Ability to conceptualize and execute engaging video content from raw footage or still images
- Familiarity with Instagram and Facebook video formats, best practices, and audience engagement strategies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience working with sports, fitness, or youth-focused brands is a plus
