Job Summary
We are hiring an Associate Manager, Sales , to support commercial growth and customer relationship management within the chemicals and petrochemical sectors at Advario.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers by understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities for service expansion and value creation
- Deliver high customer satisfaction through responsive, solution-oriented engagement and act as the key contact for assigned accounts
- Develop and recommend contract renewals, retention initiatives, and commercial proposals including pricing, contract structure, and escalation mechanisms
- Identify, qualify, and support pursuit of new business opportunities in chemicals, petrochemical, specialty chemicals, and related sectors
- Participate actively in customer meetings, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations to secure favorable outcomes
- Coordinate implementation of new customer opportunities and product onboarding activities to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, customer requirements, and competitor activities to inform commercial strategies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align project coordination and stakeholder management for customer implementation projects
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial, sales, business development, account management, or related roles within chemical, petrochemical, tank storage, terminals, logistics, or energy industries
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through effective commercial decision-making
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to influence and engage diverse stakeholders
- Experience working with industrial customers and managing customer implementation projects is advantageous
