Business Analyst

What We Expect
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Around 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role

• Exposure to financial services, credit business, private equity, or investment operations
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and supporting solution delivery in team-based environments
• Strong SQL skills and confidence working with data for analysis, validation, and investigation
• Good understanding of data structures, data flows, and how data supports business processes and reporting
• Ability to translate business needs into clear and structured documentation
• Experience creating process flows, workflow diagrams, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
• Understanding of or interest in financial services such as banking, insurance, investments, or credit
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Good to Have
• Familiarity with Agile delivery approaches such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience working with SaaS platforms, business applications, or third-party systems
• Experience supporting testing, implementation, or post-release activities
• Exposure to reporting, data analysis, or process improvement work
• Knowledge of Excel and process mapping or diagramming tools
• Business Analysis, Agile, or Project Management certifications

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support the definition and delivery of business application solutions within your delivery group, while contributing to the broader Business Platforms team. In this role, you will work with a mix of custom-built applications, SaaS platforms, and third-party systems.
You will work across the solution lifecycle — from gathering and documenting requirements, to supporting solution design, testing, implementation, and process improvement. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to help ensure business needs are translated into clear and practical solution outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, workflows, business rules, and data needs
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to understand business needs, clarify scope, and align expectations
• Translate business needs into clear documentation such as requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications
• Maintain clear and up-to-date analysis documentation across assigned initiatives
Delivery & Solution Support
• Work closely with engineers, architects, product owners, testers, and other team members to support solution delivery
• Clarify requirements during design and development and support backlog refinement where needed
• Support testing activities, including test scenario definition, user acceptance testing, and issue follow-up
• Support implementation, rollout, and post-release activities, including tracking issues, changes, and dependencies
Data & Process Improvement
• Use SQL and data analysis to investigate issues, validate requirements, and support business decision-making
• Review current processes, reports, and data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
• Support process improvement initiatives by helping define practical recommendations and documenting impacts
Collaboration & Ways of Working
• Act as a link between business stakeholders and technical teams to support shared understanding
• Contribute to shared business analysis practices, templates, and documentation standards
• Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams across locations and time zones
• Follow team standards for documentation, traceability, compliance, and change management
