Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipment operations with overseas offices, customers, and local service providers to ensure smooth and timely execution.
- Keep customers and relevant stakeholders informed of shipment progress, including collection, departure, arrival, and any operational updates.
- Prepare, verify, and process shipping documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customs declarations in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform data entry of shipment details, invoices, and other operational information into the company's in-house system.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted within required timelines.
- Carry out other operational and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers.
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level, Diploma, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics is an advantage, though candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
