Mobile App Manual & Automation Tester
Job Description
We are looking for a QA Tester with hands-on experience in mobile application manual and automation testing , covering iOS/Android, web applications, APIs, and SDKs.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual, functional, regression, and exploratory test cases.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Appium and Selenium .
- Perform API testing using Postman/SoapUI .
- Test mobile applications, web platforms, backend APIs, and SDK integrations.
- Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA/TestRail .
- Support CI/CD-based automated testing and release validation.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and geographically distributed teams.
- Explore AI-assisted testing approaches to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, and mobile testing .
- Experience with API testing and Postman .
- Programming/scripting experience in Java or Python .
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies .
- Experience with JIRA/TestRail and CI/CD processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with iOS/Xcode and Android/Android Studio .
- SDK and REST API testing experience.
- Basic SQL/NoSQL knowledge.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing or AI/ML-based quality engineering .
