Job responsibilities:
Business Leadership& P&L Management
- Lead the overall business operations and profitability of the Singapore entity.
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with the group's regional growth objectives.
- Take full ownership of revenue growth, margins, operating expenses, and business performance.
- Provide regular business updates and strategic recommendations to headquarters.
Sales & Business Development
- Drive direct sales of AI servers, infrastructure, and related technology solutions.
- Personally develop and close strategic opportunities with government bodies, universities, enterprise customers, and technology partners.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and secure new logo accounts.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities within SMEs and private-sector organizations.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for bundled AI solutions, including AI servers and AI agent software offerings.
Strategic Account Management
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Manage large-scale tender opportunities and public sector procurement projects.
- Strengthen relationships with existing customers while expanding wallet share.
Partner & Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas technology vendors and manufacturers in other regional markets.
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, product availability, and technical support.
- Drive strategic partnerships to expand solution offerings and market reach.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop the local team, including sales, technical, and service engineering functions.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Oversee workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
Regional Expansion
- Support the group's plans to expand into other Southeast Asian markets.
- Work closely with regional subsidiaries to identify growth opportunities and business synergies.
- Evaluate potential new markets, partnerships, and channels for expansion.
Job requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related discipline.
- At least 12 to 15 years of experience in enterprise technology sales, IT infrastructure, AI infrastructure, data center, cloud, networking, servers, storage, or related industries.
- Proven success in leading a business unit, country operation, or P&L responsibility.
- Strong track record in complex solution selling and securing large enterprise or public sector projects.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
- Hands-on sales leader willing to actively engage customers.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Occasional overseas travel to attend industry exhibitions, partner events, and business meetings across key regional markets.
Sales & Industry Network
- Demonstrated ability to independently generate opportunities and win major accounts
- Extensive industry network spanning government bodies, universities, enterprise customers, and technology partners.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement and tender processes.
Technical Understanding
- Good knowledge of enterprise technology solutions.
- Familiarity with large-scale computing platforms, data center ecosystems, enterprise systems, and emerging technology trends.
Leadership
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, including sales, technical, and service organizations.
- Strong people management, coaching, and organizational leadership capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive business growth.
