Role & Responsibilities
- Well versed in GitLab and Jenkins frame work for Packaging and Deployment.
- Should be able to debug release and deployment issues (Merge conflicts, Jenkins jobs, etc).
- Troubleshoot and investigate environment availability and performance issues.
- Able to automate dashboard reports , providing system status for Non Prod environments.
- Excellent knowledge of Git flow and branching strategies
- Good inter-team collaboration skills for BAU and project initiatives.
- Experience with ability to lead DevOps Activities and Implementations effectively across organizations and engagements.
- Design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools
- Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process using tools like SVN, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Docker,Kubernetes and Ansible with Python.
- Experienced in creation, integration and administration of CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Nexus.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery with Git, Nexus, Jenkins and XL Deploy and comfortable in maintaining and enhancing the code.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure for the WAS, MQ, Tomcat, JBoss, IHS Application servers and Webservers.
- Hands-on Experience with UNIX environment mainly Linux along with windows OS.
- Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes)
- Communication with users to gather DevOps requirements and analyse/address issues
Technical Skills:
- 7 plus Years of Relevant experience as an Integration Engineer / DevOps Engineer within investment banking / fintech sector ideally
- 3 plus years of Core Banking experience
- Unix Scripting, Jenkins, GitLab, WAS Admin should have working experience for at least 4 plus years
- Good to to have technical skills COBOL, MySQL, Jira
