Senior Finance Executive

Our client, a well-established financial trading platform with a dynamic regional presence, is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to join its Singapore team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of core accounting and finance operations within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day finance function and play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and timely month-end close. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in a high-performance business with exposure to trading operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-spectrum accounting and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports with a high level of accuracy.
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management processes.
Assist with management reporting, variance analysis, and financial commentary.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and other professional advisers as required.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
Support ad hoc finance projects and process improvements.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
At least 2 to 4 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
Prior experience in trading, brokerage, commodities, financial services, or a related fast-paced commercial environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of full-set accounting, reporting, and reconciliations.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive working style.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
