Job Description
- Transport construction materials, tools and equipment between the company premises, suppliers and project sites.
- Operate Class 3 and/or Class 4 lorries safely and responsibly.
- Assist with the loading, securing and unloading of materials.
- Ensure that the load does not exceed the vehicle’s permitted capacity.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage and vehicle servicing.
- Comply with traffic regulations and site safety requirements.
- Assist with general site, warehouse or logistics duties when there are no scheduled deliveries.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or Management.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 and/or Class 4 driving licence.
- Have relevant lorry-driving experience
- Familiar with Singapore roads, construction sites and delivery locations.
- Possess a good and safe driving record.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading construction materials.
- Able to secure materials and equipment safely before transportation.
- Responsible for daily vehicle checks, cleanliness and basic maintenance.
- Able to maintain delivery orders, trip records and fuel receipts accurately.
- Comply with traffic regulations and workplace safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, responsible and able to work independently.
- Basic English communication skills are preferred.
