Treasury & Cash Management
- Prepare rolling 3-month cash flow projections on a monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecast and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and projected cash flow statements.
- Monitor and manage cash balances to support effective cash management.
- Plan and coordinate short-term and long-term cash placements and withdrawals.
- Prepare annual forecasts and budgets for finance income.
- Review bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are followed up promptly.
Accounts Payable
- Handle payment-related queries from internal stakeholders and provide guidance on payment procedures and workflows.
- Resolve payment-related issues and follow up on outstanding matters.
- Review Accounts Payable ageing reports and reconciliations.
- Support the processing and review of third-party and intercompany payments.
Fixed Assets
- Manage fixed asset records and schedules.
- Coordinate annual fixed asset verification exercises.
- Verify asset disposals and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Support the creation and maintenance of internal order codes.
- Review fixed asset schedules and ensure accuracy of records.
Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing
- Assist with the review of operating expenditure entries during month-end closing, including manpower, IT and other operating expenses.
- Liaise with Finance Shared Services teams to ensure accuracy of accounting entries and timely completion of month-end closing activities.
- Prepare monthly operating expenditure reports across cost centres.
- Monitor and analyse expenditure variances between actual results and budget.
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial reporting packs.
- Prepare monthly variance analysis and reporting decks for management review.
- Work closely with cost centre owners to address financial queries and clarify expenditure classifications.
- Maintain and update finance system approval workflows and cost centre approvers.
General
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on finance and accounting matters.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting and accounting activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
