Our client is a Precision engineering and semiconductor manufacturing industries . Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Controls & Electrical Engineer to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and simulate AC/DC power, control , and communication circuits.
- Develop and integrate control systems, sensors, and embedded hardware.
- Assemble, wire, modify, and troubleshoot custom electrical assemblies and control boxes.
- Support product improvement, innovation, and technical solution development.
- Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, wiring drawings, test procedures, and project reports.
- Work with customers and suppliers on technical requirements, project execution, and issue resolution.
- Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing for customer engagement.
- Support Operations and Quality teams in troubleshooting, process improvement, and product performance issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical hardware, circuitry, embedded systems, or controls engineering.
- Experience with C/C++ microcontroller programming, such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or equivalent platforms.
- Good understanding of closed-loop control systems and sensors, including pressure, temperature, motion, and proximity sensors.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, DMMs, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and electrical troubleshooting.
