Job Responsibilities
- Manage engineering projects from planning and budgeting through equipment installation, commissioning and final handover
- Coordinate CAPEX projects, equipment upgrades and process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing plant
- Review engineering drawings, P&IDs and technical specifications for project implementation
- Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance teams on equipment performance and engineering matters
- Support equipment reliability improvement, breakdown investigation and measures to reduce plant downtime
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule and within budget
- Ensure engineering works comply with relevant WSH, GMP, HACCP and food manufacturing requirements
- Maintain project documentation, engineering drawings, SOPs, risk assessments and commissioning records
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, operating costs and overall plant performance
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of project engineering experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Experience handling CAPEX projects, equipment installation and commissioning
- Knowledge of manufacturing utility systems will be advantageous
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and Singapore WSH requirements will be advantageous
