Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain real-time data processing and streaming solutions using Apache Flink .
- Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance stream processing applications for real-time data workloads.
- Develop and optimize Flink jobs, pipelines, transformations, and stateful processing .
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, latency, and reliability issues in real-time streaming applications.
- Collaborate with engineering and application teams to understand requirements and deliver robust streaming solutions.
- Implement monitoring, logging, error handling, and operational best practices for Flink applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with strong software/data engineering background.
- Atleast 2 years of hands-on experience with Apache Flink , particularly in real-time/stream processing environments.
- Strong understanding of stream processing concepts , event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Java or Scala and good programming fundamentals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
Good to Have
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka-based event streaming.
- Experience with Kubernetes and deploying/managing streaming applications in containerized environments.
