Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

• Assist in preparation of tender submission
• Responsible for measurement of quantities & cost estimation
• Call quotations, compare prices and prepare bill of quantities to arrive the tender pricing
• Study contract documents, perform measurements and prepare Bill of Quantities
• Assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Client's representative on claims and variation costs
• Prepare budget statement monthly and review by Superior
• Review and verify the Subcontractor's / Supplier's claims and prepare payment certificates and to obtain approval from relevant parties
• To maintain the Quality System in the Department
• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior / Management deem fit.

Job Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Minimum 5-8 years' working experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities on projects
• MRT/LTA tendering experience is preferred
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Good negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Resourceful, independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment
