Job Summary
Our front-of-house crew delivers excellent customer service and hospitality, ensuring guests feel comfortable and satisfied throughout their visit. This role requires teamwork, passion for service, and a proactive approach.
Responsibilities
- Learn the restaurant layout and all food and beverage menu items to assist guests effectively
- Prepare pre-operation and side stations to ensure a smooth service start
- Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
- Present menus and inform guests about daily specials, promotions, and menu changes
- Suggest menu items and upsell where appropriate to enhance guest experience
- Take guest orders accurately, noting any special requirements
- Enter orders into the POS system, ensuring all special requests are captured and communicated to the kitchen clearly
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and smooth delivery of orders
- Serve food and beverages to guests according to the order sequence
- Monitor guests’ needs attentively to provide proactive service such as clearing plates, refilling glasses, and taking additional orders
- Check discreetly on guests’ dining experience and address any concerns promptly
- Close bills accurately and promptly using the POS system
- Respond professionally and promptly to guest queries, needs, and special requests
- Take ownership of guest feedback and collaborate with the F&B Manager to ensure timely resolution and guest satisfaction
- Perform general housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain restaurant cleanliness
- Assist with stocktaking and pantry organization as needed
- Follow all restaurant safety and security policies, reporting any accidents or incidents immediately to management
- Perform other duties as assigned to support restaurant operations
