Senior Application Support Engineer - Payments

Looking for profile with extensive experience in Application Support & Production Operations for the Payment platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical support for the payment platform.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents and service disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout incident management activities.
- Manage containerised application operations, including start, stop, restart, and configuration through automation tools.
- Manage platform upgrades, deployments, and version tracking. Customer Credit Transfers
- Financial Institution Transfers
- Account Statements and Reconciliation Messages
- ISO 20022 messages (payment, cash management, and customer payment messages)
- Work closely with operational and processing teams on incident resolution and system enhancements.
- Investigate payment failures, rejections, duplicates, delays, and reconciliation issues.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting in Unix/Linux environments.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting capabilities to proactively detect application, infrastructure, and payment-processing issues.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in banking application support .
- Experience within an international banking or financial services environment is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in payment platforms or similar payment applications.
- Hands-on experience managing container-based deployments and operations.
- Solid understanding of payment messaging standards.
- Good knowledge of ISO 20022.
- Strong Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Container platform management.
- Shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell, or equivalent).
- Messaging middleware technologies.
- APIs and integration technologies.
- Strong No SQL& SQL Skills
