Assistant Sales Manager

The Electronics Division has been developing its business mainly in the Semiconductor and Electronics industries and have also started expanding their business into the food and textile industries and are expanding their business further into Southeast Asia, Oceania, and South Asia.

The ideal candidate is expected to utilise their experience and creativity to make effective proposals to existing customers and build new business development.

The candidate will guide junior colleagues on various work and contribute to their growth in the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Sales and marketing of materials to Semiconductor and Electronics related manufacturers.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and supervise account management teams.
• Develop and execute SEA region go-to-market plans based on market, customer, and competitive analysis.
• Network proactively at industry events represent AGC's portfolio and gather insights.
• Prepare monthly sales reports (actual, forecast, budget) for reporting to the head office.
• Coach and guide junior colleagues
• Take the initiative and be proactive in networking.

JOBSPECIFICATION

• Min. Diploma or Degree in Business or related fields
• At least 6 - 8 years' experience in B2B sales and marketing, with min. 1 year in supervisory role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and business associates
• Highly sales driven and motivated.
• Self-Motivated & Team player
• Track record in semiconductor or electronics industry will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Southeast Asian market
• Singaporean or PR only
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Willingness to travel (Southeast Asia region)
