IT Application Support Executive (insurance industry)

Position: IT Application Support Executive
Working Day: Mon-Fri

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary or secondary IT point of contact for designated business applications, such as Sun Accounting, Merimen, TMoL, Dobuflo System, StreamServe, and Premium System.
• Receive, evaluate, and address user-reported application-related incidents in compliance with IT incident management protocols.
• Provide error reporting, troubleshooting, and user support for systems that are supported.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when the system is being improved, fixed, or configured differently.
• Assist with day-to-day IT tasks pertaining to designated apps.
• Keep users informed about the status of issues, workarounds, and updates on resolutions.
• Possesses business analysis skills, with knowledge of big data concepts, enabling better understanding of business requirements, data flows and system impacts to support informed decision-making and system enhancements. (advantage)

Qualifications & Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Information Technology or its equivalent.
• Practical knowledge of ITSM and ticketing systems, Windows OS (Desktop & Server), and endpoint management tools. (Ivanti recommended)
• Fundamental understanding of infrastructure, networking, and IT security.
• Advantageous to have experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledgeable about Office, Microsoft 365 and teamwork tools.
• If necessary able to take the Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) test.
