IT Operations Manager

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the IT team, providing direction, coaching and support
- Oversee IT operations and services across multiple office locations
- Provide strategic direction for IT infrastructure, systems, applications and technology initiatives
- Manage and coordinate with external IT vendors, service providers and technology partners
- Oversee IT ticketing and support processes to ensure issues are tracked, prioritised and resolved within agreed timelines
- Establish and improve IT processes, policies and service standards across all offices
- Plan and manage IT projects, system implementations, upgrades and improvements
- Monitor IT performance and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and user experience
- Oversee IT security, access management and compliance requirements
- Manage IT budgets, resources and vendor contracts
- Act as the key point of contact between the IT team, business stakeholders and external vendors
- Provide leadership and strategic guidance rather than being primarily involved in hands-on technical operations
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of relevant IT experience, with prior experience in a team leadership/management capacity
- Experience overseeing IT operations across multiple offices or locations
- Strong experience managing external IT vendors and service providers
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and service management processes
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems and cybersecurity
- Good stakeholder management, leadership and vendor management skills
