Car Insurance Specialist

We are growing and we're looking for talents to come onboard our insurance team as a Car Insurance Specialist based in Singapore.

Mission

MoneySmart Financial generates leads on its platform in the form of customers who are in the market for car insurance and who are interested in connecting with a Car Insurance Specialist. Your mission will be to promptly call all the leads assigned to you, find out more about these customers' car insurance needs, compare among the different available options, advise them on the best-suited option, assist them on the application process and facilitate the follow-up until the car insurance policy is officially issued. Post-sales servicing and customer retention in the form of reviewing their car insurance nearing to their policy period so as to advise on the options for renewal, are also crucial aspects of this role.

You are expected to be highly responsive, provide top-notch service and competent advice, and get back to customers quickly in order to ensure excellent customer experience. You may need to be available outside of standard working hours because customers may not be available during the day due to work commitments. You are expected to be self-motivated, disciplined, accountable, and committed to achieving your monthly sales targets.

• You will be working closely with our Head of Advisory to grow the business, drive sales excellence and foster a positive client-centric culture

• This is a permanent role with a hybrid work-from-home arrangement

• All leads will be provided by the company. No face-to-face interactions with customers required

You will be working closely with our Head of Advisory to grow the business, drive sales excellence and foster a positive client-centric culture. Leads will be fully provided for by the company, coupled with an attractive monthly commission scheme, annual leave and CPF contributions (where applicable). This is a hybrid work-from-home arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt and excellent customer service to our leads/customers who have expressed interest to purchase/renew car insurance

• Advising on the overall car insurance purchase process

• Achieving monthly sales targets and thinking of ways to maximise lead potential

• Ensuring adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements as well as department policies and procedures

• Following customer's application through to policy issuance

• Liaising with partners on promotions on an ad hoc basis

• Following up with customers and being accountable for personal conversion rate

• Required to take and pass the exams for 2 insurance certifications in Singapore: Basic Insurance Concepts and Principles (BCP) and Personal General Insurance (PGI) from Singapore College of Insurance (SCI)

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in car or other personal insurance sales

• Possessing these certifications will be a very strong plus: Basic Insurance Concepts and Principles (BCP) and Personal General Insurance (PGI) from Singapore College of Insurance (SCI)

• Good product knowledge about car insurance and the industry

• Strong telesales/telemarketing (call center) experience

• Possess good computer literacy, meticulous in administrative matters and has experience in using CRM

• Proficient in written and spoken English

• Highly sales-oriented, resilient and goal-driven

• Customer-oriented with good follow-up skills

• Self-motivated and self-disciplined
