Established in 2005, Redwoods Advance is a sales and marketing organisation with over 20 years of industry experience.
We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounting Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, values accuracy and consistency, and is committed to maintaining strong financial and accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and account reconciliations.
- Manage invoicing, payment processing, collections and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and monitor cash flow, expenses and financial records.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
- Assist with GST reporting, tax matters and audit preparation.
- Review existing accounting processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks and relevant stakeholders.
- Support management with financial analysis, reporting and other accounting-related matters.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with experience handling full sets of accounts.
- Good knowledge of Singapore accounting practices, GST and statutory requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently, prioritise responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, dependable and accountable, with good follow-through on assigned tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
