Warehouse Storekeeper - Tampines

Company Overview

The client is a trading company located in Tampines West, Singapore, seeking a Warehouse Storekeeper to manage inventory and support warehouse operations efficiently.

Job Summary

You will manage incoming and outgoing goods, maintain accurate stock records, ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety, and support loading/unloading tasks to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods to ensure proper condition and accuracy
• Store goods systematically to optimize warehouse space and accessibility
• Issue materials and stock according to requests accurately and timely
• Update stock records using basic computer systems and Microsoft Excel to maintain inventory accuracy
• Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies to supervisors promptly
• Label and store items correctly to facilitate easy identification and retrieval
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse to comply with safety standards
• Assist in loading and unloading goods safely when required
• Follow established safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor to support warehouse operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum secondary education
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Physical fitness to perform manual warehouse tasks safely and effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse or storekeeping roles
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Other Information

• Work location: Tampines West
• Work week: 5.5 days
• Salary: upto $2500 per month (negotiable)
