About our client : Our client operates in the process and industrial plant engineering design and consultancy sector, supporting industries such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemical and Refining.
About the role :
- Design and generate PLC control panel layout, panel outline, and wiring schematic drawings using EPLAN.
- Develop control panel loop drawings based on customer requirements using EPLAN software.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Support drawing standardisation initiatives across projects to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Participate in internal hardware testing and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) activities for control panels when required.
- Ensure high-quality drawing output and proper integration with physical panel fabrication.
- Provide technical drafting support to project engineers and team members as required.
- Ensure timely completion of drafting deliverables according to project schedules.
- Develop and manage EPLAN libraries, including macros, symbols, forms, and reports.
- Perform any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
About you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in EPLAN P8 Professional (2.9 and above).
- Strong experience in Rittal cabinet layout design and wiring schematic development.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and EPLAN drafting software.
- Good knowledge of IEC standards and NEMA/NEC codes.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of EPLAN Cogineer module is an advantage.
- Positive attitude with strong initiative and problem-solving mindset.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
