We are seeking an experienced Indian Cook to join our team in the hospitality/restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in preparing authentic Indian cuisine and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to traditional recipes and standards.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in food preparation.
- Monitor and manage kitchen inventory to minimize waste and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Indian Cook in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian culinary techniques, spices, and ingredients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
- Certification in culinary arts or relevant field is a plus.
