Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients and engineering teams to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
- Conduct research and provide technical input for the design and development of mechanical systems.
- Develop and prepare engineering designs using AutoCAD 2D/3D, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant design software.
- Carry out computer simulations and design evaluations to test and improve proposed solutions.
- Assist in structural calculations and engineering analysis where required.
- Coordinate with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure that project requirements and designs are properly implemented.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Autodesk Revit, and Navisworks.
- Knowledge of structural calculation software such as STAAD.Pro and IDEA StatiCa will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with engineering design principles, industry best practices, and Eurocode 3.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with different stakeholders.
