Assoc Director/Director, Lab Operations

IQVIA seeks an Associate Director or Director of Lab Operations in Singapore to lead laboratory staff and manage testing operations across departments. The role involves strategic planning, regulatory compliance, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives within a clinical laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily laboratory activities and manage assigned work groups across departments
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee laboratory workload, projects, and resource allocation
- Recruit, develop, coach, and manage laboratory staff with performance standards and goals
- Drive quality improvements, CAPA closure, root cause investigations, and compliance initiatives
- Oversee implementation of new tests, equipment, technologies, and operational processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and professional experience
- 5+ years laboratory operations experience in regulated environments with 5+ years line management
- Regulatory expertise in GCLP/GxP requirements for vaccine and specialty laboratory testing
- In-depth knowledge of clinical testing procedures and applicable laboratory regulations
- Technical understanding of operations, study setup, and cross-functional system dependencies
- Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control principles, and occupational safety regulations
- Applicable certifications and licenses as required by local regulations
