Optical Test Engineer
Salary Range: SGD 8,000 – 12,000/month; Senior/Lead level up to SGD 15,000/month
Job Description:
Recruit123 is helping our client to hire an Optical Test Engineer. Our client is seeking someone to develop and execute test solutions for advanced optical and electronic components.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and set up wafer-level and package-level test programs
- Perform instrument calibration, optical interface setup, and test station operation
- Analyze test data, identify yield/failure trends, and drive root-cause investigations
- Collaborate with design and process teams to improve test coverage and throughput
- Support new product introduction (NPI) test development
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Physics, or related field
- 3+ years' experience in optical/electronic component testing or ATE wafer test
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for test automation is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
