Responsibilities:
- Manage sales of flat steel products while expanding business presence in overseas markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mills, customers, and industry stakeholders to drive new business opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management and timely fulfilment of needs.
- Execute business strategies set by management to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and strengthen market positioning.
- Prepare reports and presentations to support business decisions and track performance.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and recommend strategies to maximise profitability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in steel merchandising and trading.
- Strong knowledge of steel products including Hot Rolled Coil (HRC), Cold Rolled Coil (CRC), and Galvanised Iron (GI).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a multinational environment.
- Established network of industry contacts with a track record of driving revenue growth.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic and results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel for business purposes.
