Responsibilities
- Assist in translating engineering and product requirements into practical mechanical design concepts.
- Develop 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Support design analysis and simulations, including structural, thermal, and vibration assessments.
- Evaluate and select suitable materials and components based on performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Design and support tooling, jigs, and fixtures for assembly and testing processes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering teams to ensure effective design implementation.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to quality standards, safety requirements, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in enclosure design for gensets, engines, machinery, or industrial systems.
- Proficient in CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with simulation tools, including FEA/FEM and thermal analysis.
- Good knowledge of material selection, fabrication methods, and applicable industry standards and compliance requirements.
