QC Supervisor
Salary: SGD 3,500 – 4,500
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
Work Location: Tuas (Company transport provided from Jurong & Boon Lay)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), SOPs, and project quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant industry standards.
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate root causes of defects in mechanical parts and assemblies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Ensure quality standards for raw materials, parts, and fabrication processes.
- Lead, train, and supervise QA/QC Engineers, Inspectors, and production staff.
- Support internal audits and quality system reviews.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in a mechanical manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering environment.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, fabrication processes, inspection methods, and QMS.
- Experience with ISO standards, NCR management, and audit processes.
- Six Sigma or ISO Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
