Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP or façade works.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction documentation from BIM models.
- Coordinate BIM models with architects, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to identify and resolve design clashes.
- Perform clash detection and model coordination using BIM software.
- Update BIM models to reflect design revisions and as-built conditions.
- Ensure all BIM models comply with project standards, specifications, and BIM execution plans.
- Extract schedules, quantities, and material information from BIM models when required.
- Collaborate with project, engineering, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain proper document control and version management of BIM files.
- Support project planning, fabrication, and site installation through accurate modelling.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of BIM modelling experience in construction, façade, aluminium, or MEP projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM software.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and coordination processes.
- Experience preparing shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, clash detection, and model coordination.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines.
