Job Summary
You will support machine and process setup, assist engineers with troubleshooting and maintenance, operate machines, and perform inspections to ensure quality production meets customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines and processes to prepare for production runs
- Assist engineers in troubleshooting equipment and maintaining machinery to minimize downtime
- Operate machines as needed and conduct in-process inspections to ensure product quality
- Monitor production to ensure products meet customer specifications and schedules
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing housekeeping tasks
- Clean up machine oil spills promptly to prevent hazards
- Segregate waste properly to support environmental compliance
- Contribute to energy and resource conservation initiatives within the organization
- Follow all company policies on quality, environmental, health, safety, and security
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or ITE certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
- GCE "O" Level or SPM equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in a mass production or engineering environment
- Ability to understand and use measuring equipment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working with wire bonder and die attach machines
