Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability objectives
- Identify, develop and win opportunities across enterprise, hyperscale, cloud and colocation customers
- Lead the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and solution development through to commercial negotiation and contract closure
- Build trusted relationships with consultants, contractors, system integrators, channel partners and key end-users
- Partner with internal technical, project and marketing teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitive activities to shape business development strategies
- Lead and mentor team members while ensuring strong pipeline management, forecasting accuracy and operational excellence
The Successful Applicant
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience within data centre infrastructure, critical facilities, electrical systems or related industries
- Strong understanding of data centre environments, including power infrastructure, racks, enclosures, structured cabling, cooling systems and monitoring technologies
- Proven success in business development, key account management and achieving commercial sales targets
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders across enterprise customers, consultants, system integrators and contractors
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated capability in strategic planning, negotiation and solution selling
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Relevant data centre certifications would be advantageous
