Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Junior Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with our existing clients within the Workplace Technology Solutions industry.
The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain strong client relationships, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and drive revenue growth from existing accounts.
While the main focus is on account management and business expansion within existing clients, candidates who are able to identify and acquire new clients will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Relationships
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing client enquiries, requirements, and concerns.
- Conduct regular client engagement and follow-ups to understand evolving business needs.
- Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Sales Growth & Account Expansion
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Workplace Technology Solutions products and services to existing clients.
- Proactively recommend suitable solutions based on clients' business requirements.
- Develop account growth strategies to maximise revenue opportunities within existing accounts.
- Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and presentations to support business opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial terms and follow up on sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients where possible.
Internal Collaboration & Sales Operations
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Presales, Project Management, and Technical Support, to ensure seamless solution delivery.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address client requirements and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate client records, sales pipelines, and account activities in the CRM system.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates on account activities, opportunities, and revenue forecasts.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, Business Development, or a related client-facing commercial role.
- Experience in Workplace Technology Solutions, Audio Visual (AV), Unified Communications (UC), IT solutions, or related technology
- Proven ability to manage existing client relationships and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities.
- Good negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working towards sales targets.
- Experience in acquiring new clients will be an added advantage.
