Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner at all times, seat guests accordingly. Ensure attentiveness towards guests, anticipating their needs, appropriate & prompt responses to all queries.
• Ensure adherence to daily assignment, prompt completion of assigned tasks to the highest standards.
• Professional responses to emails/ calls/ messages, ensuring complete and accurate reservations are made.
• Engage with guests to anticipate and fulfill their needs, ensuring every interaction is thoughtful and meaningful.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming and efficient service environment, where no day is the same.
• Understand all stations & tasks sufficiently to perform any duty assigned, consistently demonstrating high levels of guest service.
• Maintain cleanliness & appearance of all items such as centerpieces, china, glass & silver.
• All settings, stations, equipment to be maintained immaculately & ready for smooth service.
• Prompt & proper sequence of service with menu highlights, providing guest appropriate recommendations, accurate order taking while noting & relaying any special requests, dietary requirements or allergies to the relevant members.
• Present and serve food & beverages of high standards with adequate description & flair, checking for guest satisfaction with proactive engagement at opportune times.
• Follow through sequence of service including check presentation accurately in a timely manner.
• Communicate with the team and report any challenges, guest comments &any relevant information to the manager on duty in a timely manner.
• Cleanliness of work areas to be maintained consistently, deep cleaning conducted regularly.
• Be proficient in all necessary knowledge including product & service.
• Conduct accurate stock counts & requisition, maintain organisation of all storage areas.
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence (EQ), empathy, and adaptability in all interactions.
• Uphold the bistro’s standards of quality and hospitality, even under pressure.
• Train, guide and monitor junior team members or part timers as necessary.
• Adhere to all company, safety& hygiene policies and procedures; report all accidents, injuries and incidents to management. Practice responsible service of alcohol.
• Be yourself, unashamedly, and show up every day ready to create memorable moments for our guests.

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
• Ability to handle long hours on your feet and high-pressure situations with grace.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.
• Ability to read a room, anticipate needs, and show up with authenticity.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role is an advantage but not a requirement.
